About 45 rockets were fired from Lebanon on Thursday, the Israeli army said. “Some of the projectiles were intercepted and the rest fell in open areas”, it added. The Israeli military said it had struck “Hezbollah military sites, terrorists and weapons storage facilities” on Thursday in an effort to “dismantle and degrade Hezbollah’s capabilities and terrorist infrastructure”.
