A UN official said 47 Palestinians were wounded, mostly by gunfire, when a crowd overran a Gaza aid hub on Tuesday. After Palestinians had overwhelmed a new aid distribution hub set up by the Israeli and US-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, Ajith Sunghay, head of the UN Human Rights Office for the Palestinian territories, said it appeared Israeli army fire had caused most of the injuries.
