Donald Trump pleaded not guilty in Miami to 37 federal charges stemming from his handling of classified documents. In the first ever criminal prosecution of a former president, Trump was accused of wilful possession of national security secrets after his presidency ended in 2021. “Today, we witnessed the most evil and heinous abuse of power in the history of our country,” Trump said to supporters.
