Aid shipments to Gaza from Cyprus are expected to resume soon, officials said. Cyprus has about 1,000 tonnes of aid destined for the enclave stored on the island. Aid ships to Gaza were stopped after the deaths of seven World Central Kitchen workers. The US plans to set up a dock, with a target date of May 1, on Gaza’s Mediterranean coast that will enable aid deliveries which will be screened in Cyprus, with Israeli oversight.
