On Monday, Pakistan reported 708 new coronavirus cases in the previous 24 hours, marking the first time that daily infections had surpassed 700 since October 30, 2021.

On that date, the country had reported 733 infections.

The positive rate has risen to 1.55 percent, according to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC).
