Israel’s UN envoy claimed that Israel uncovered “clear evidence of Hamas affiliations” within the UN’s humanitarian agency. Danny Danon told the UN Security Council that “key employees” of the Organisation for the Co-ordination of Humanitarian Affairs, known as OCHA, are now undergoing security vetting and international staff would have visas reduced to one month. He also accused UN humanitarian chief Tom Fletcher of abandoning “his sacred responsibility to act without bias, choosing instead to fuel a political campaign against Israel.”
