ISPR reported that the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) William Joseph Burns held a meeting with Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa and the Director-General of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Lieutenant General Faiz Hameed to discuss evolving situation of Afghanistan. In this meeting, matters of mutual interest and the regional security situation were also discussed. The CIA chief lauded the role of Pakistan in the Afghan situation and its efforts for regional stability.
