Washington: On May 26, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that the United States did not seek to sever China from the global economy, but wanted Beijing to adhere to international rules. ‘Washington will not block China from growing its economy or advancing the interests of its people,’ Blinken stated. “We aren’t looking for conflict or a new Cold War. To the contrary, we’re determined to avoid both,” Blinken added.
