Vaccines for children entered the Gaza Strip through the Rafah border crossing with Egypt, Palestinian Health Minister Dr Mai Al Kaila said on Monday. Dr. Kaila said the vaccines protect against diseases like polio, measles, rubella, and mumps. The UN estimated that about 16,854 children missed their routine vaccinations after the war with Israel began on October 7.
