Centcom says forces in Middle East at ‘peak readiness’ 

US Central Command (Centcom), which oversees operations related to the war on Iran, said that the USS Abraham Lincoln carrier strike group is operating at “peak readiness” in the Arabian Sea. In a social media post, Centcom shared images of US fighter jets, including F-35 stealth aircraft, launching from an aircraft carrier. It said its forces remain prepared while “enforcing the US blockade against Iranian ports”.
