Seyed Mehdi Tabatabaei, deputy for communications and information at the Iranian president’s office, said Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Asim Munir’s visit to Iran was “highly fruitful”. In a post on X, Tabatabaei said the visit by CDF Munir yielded “highly valuable diplomatic achievements”. He added that the results of the visit would soon become apparent.
