Under the Pakistan Airport Authority Ordinance, Civil Aviation has announced the establishment of an Airport Authority. The Pakistan Airport Authority ordinance came into force on August 23, 2021, and the Civil Aviation ordinance came into force on the same day. The Director-General of Civil Aviation has issued a notification for the establishment of the authority.
