US Secretary of State Antony Blinken is heading on Wednesday to talks in Qatar after Hamas gave a reply to a Washington-led proposal for a ceasefire. Mr Blinken, on a four-country trip around the Middle East to push Hamas to accept the truce proposal, will meet the Qatari leadership, which has relayed messages to the Palestinian militant group.
