US Secretary of State Antony Blinken touched down in Turkey, kick-starting a week-long tour of the Middle East. He is expected to discuss Nato-related issues with his Turkish counterparts, as well as the Israel-Gaza war. Mr Blinken will later travel to Greece, Jordan, Qatar, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Israel and the West Bank.
