US President Joe Biden singled out the wars in Ukraine, Gaza and Sudan as some of the most pressing issues facing the world today. “I know we look at the world today and see difficulties and react with despair, but I do not, I won’t,” Mr Biden said. “As leaders, we don’t have the luxury. I recognise the challenges from Ukraine to Gaza to Sudan,” he added. Mr Biden stated that the world was at an inflexion point, something he has said in previous addresses to the assembly.
