The movement, which supports utilizing boycotts, divestment, and sanctions to push Israel into ending its occupation, has said that “there is no longer any excuse for international sports forums not to expel Israel and deprive it of participating in its championships”. It made the statement in response to the International Ice Hockey Federation barring Israel from competing in its world championship events citing security concerns.
