Gaza’s government media office called for urgent action after a generator failed at Al Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir Al Balah, one of only two functioning hospitals in the enclave. It called on the international community, NGOs and Arab nations to provide generators for the hospital “to save the sick, wounded, and children of Gaza from certain death”, in a Telegram post.
