Of the 596 foreign nationals approved for evacuation from the Gaza Strip, 345 were allowed to exit to Egypt on Wednesday, the enclave’s border authority said. A list of foreign nationals approved for exit from enclave following a rumored Qatari-led deal included 20 Australians, 36 Bulgarians, five Koreans and 17 Sri Lankans, the countries’ respective foreign ministries said. France, the UK, and the US announced on Wednesday that the first of their citizens were able to leave Gaza through the Rafah crossing.
