Michael Slater, a former Australian batsman and television analyst, was arrested and charged with domestic assault on Wednesday.

The 51-year-old, who is now a well-known television analyst, was arrested last week in connection with an alleged incident.

Police in New South Wales said that they had visited a 51-year-old man at his house on Wednesday morning and arrested him.

He was charged with using a “carriage service to menace/harass/offend and stalk/intimidate intend fear physical harm”, police said.
