At least 17 Palestinians were killed and others injured in Israeli air strikes on the town of Jabalia in northern Gaza and Bureij camp at dawn on Wednesday, official news agency Wafa reported. Fifteen were killed, most of them children, in a strike on a house in Jabalia. A separate strike killed two in Bureij camp in central Gaza, Wafa said. The Israeli army bombed residential areas in Beit Lahia in Jabalia camp. Israeli aircraft fired at the northwestern area of Gaza city and artillery targeted the southeastern neighbourhoods in Bureij camp.
