The delegation of the ministerial committee assigned by the Joint Arab Islamic Summit met with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Headed by Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, the delegation was received by Mr Trudeau. Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad Al-Maliki also participated.
They discussed developments in Gaza and urged the international community to assume its responsibility to protect civilians, calling for an “immediate ceasefire and a calming of unjustified military escalation”.
