Arab countries condemned Israeli strikes on the Jabalia refugee camp in the Gaza Strip that killed scores of people and left hundreds injured. The UAE strongly condemned the strikes, saying the indiscriminate attack would result in irreparable ramifications in the region.The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed the need for an immediate ceasefire to prevent further loss of life. Egypt deplored what it called the “inhuman targeting” by Israel. Saudi Arabia condemned the “inhumane targeting ….. caused the death and injury of a large number of innocent civilians”. Qatar’s Foreign Ministry warned that further strikes would undermine mediation efforts from Doha.
