President Dr. Arif Alvi said that social media was one of the reasons for differences between former prime minister Imran Khan and ex-army chief General (retired) Qamar Javed Bajwa. In an interview with BBC Urdu, the president said that misunderstandings were created by giving “undue importance to social media”. He added that the country’s “decision-making powers” were unable to “handle” social media.
