It is reported that the Taliban fired in the air and used batons to line up people in orderly queues and to prevent chaos at Kabul airport. No major injuries occurred and gunmen beat back the crowd. Britain’s defense ministry reported that a day before seven people were crushed at the gates of the airport as thousands of people desperately tried to get a flight out.
