In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), people celebrated Pakistan’s 75th Independence Day despite the curfew. They elevated the Pakistani flag in Srinagar, Khanqah-e-Moallah, and other areas at the stroke of midnight on August 14. People of IIOJK also raised pro-Pakistani and anti-India slogans and burst firecrackers to express their joy. In IIOJK, Kashmiris will observe India’s Independence Day as Black Day.
