On Friday, Russia warned that it would abandon a landmark grain deal with Ukraine unless obstacles to its grain and fertilizer exports were removed. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said he and Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu discussed “a failure” to implement the terms of the deal. He said that Russia could work outside it if Western countries maintain what he said were obstacles to agricultural exports that were getting tougher.
