Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov laid bare that Putin planned to talk to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Previously, Turkey acted as a mediator alongside the United Nations in 2022 to set up a deal allowing grain exports from Ukrainian ports. Türkiye is yet to respond to Peskov’s statement.
