The foreign office in its statement said that unknown assailants kidnapped the daughter of the Afghan ambassador in Pakistan from Islamabad. It also said that Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) are investigating and trying to apprehend the culprit behind the kidnapping and man-handling of the ambassador’s daughter Silsila Alikhil. Foreign Office Spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri mentioned that she was assaulted on the 16th of July when she was in a rented car. The Ministry reported that she has been released and is now under medical observation.
