The prime minister made the announcement while chairing a meeting to assess progress on Balochistan’s power transmission lines.

Federal Ministers Ahsan Iqbal and Engineer Khurram Dastagir, as well as DG Frontier Works Organization Major General Kamal Azfar and other related senior officials, attended the meeting.

In this context, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has asked that an action plan be submitted within 10 days. PM Sharif also instructed the construction of a complete off-grid system in Gwadar to provide an instant supply of energy.
