Lucknow: According to reports, Indian police had charged senior executives of Amazon.com’s (AMZN.O) local department under narcotics laws. The case was registered due to the alleged marijuana smuggling via the online dealer. Madhya Pradesh state police stated that they had arrested two men with 20 KG of marijuana and investigated that they were using the Amazon India website to order and further smuggle the material as stevia leaves, used as a natural sweetener in many Indian states.
