On Monday, the State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib announced that Pakistan obtained the top ranking in The Economist’s world normalcy index. He gave all credit to Prime Minister Imran Khan’s leveled decision-making and its execution by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC). ‘The Economist’s world normalcy index, Pakistan had been ranked first in the list of countries where Covid-induced restrictions have been eased,’ he wrote on Twitter.
