After nearly a month of closure, Pakistani and Afghan authorities reopened the Chaman border on Tuesday, allowing goods and citizens from both countries to cross after receiving approval from security and customs officials.
After a final round of talks between Pakistani and Afghan authorities at Spin Buldak on Monday evening, the Chaman crossing, a crucial transit point for truckers moving fruit exports from the southern Afghan city of Kandahar, reopened.
