A military update says Kalashnikov-style assault weapons, RPGs, grenades and other combat equipment were stored in the depots in central Gaza that belonged to Hamas. The arms were intended for use against Israeli troops occupying areas of Gaza and Israeli citizens, the army said. The Government Media Office in Gaza said on Wednesday that 3,689 violations by the Israeli military have been recorded since the “ceasefire” came into force in October 2025.
