Hezbollah MP calls Israel-Lebanon agreement a ‘mistake’

Direct negotiations with Israel are a “mistake,” Hezbollah MP Amin Sherri has told Al Jazeera. “What Israel failed to achieve in two wars, it now seeks to achieve by igniting a war among the Lebanese,” Sherri told Al Jazeera. “Israel continues to drag Lebanon into further concessions. Our agreement to the deployment of the army south of the Litani means a complete Israeli withdrawal.”
