Lebanon-Israel ceasefire extension faces ‘implementation gap’

The ceasefire extension between Israel and Lebanon is significant because it shows “all parties still have value in containing escalation and keeping diplomatic channels open”, Rania Kisar, director of research at the American Center for Levant Studies, stated.
