According to Axios reporter Barak Ravid on X, a US official confirmed the development, noting that the move was not coordinated with Iran. However, an Iranian military official denied reports of a US vessel transit through the strategic waterway, according to Iranian media. The development came as Pakistan is holding the negotiations to end the war.
