Iran Culture Ministry has said that US-Israeli strikes have caused “serious structural damage” to at least 56 cultural sites, including museums and historic monuments, reported Al Jazeera. In a statement carried by the ISNA news agency, the ministry also said Tehran province tops the list, with 19 damaged monuments. It added that 12 prominent monuments have also been damaged in Iran’s Kurdistan province.
