Israel is exerting last-minute pressure on the US to change the wording of a draft UN Security Council resolution concerning the planned deployment of a multinational force in Gaza, according to the Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation Kan. The broadcaster reported that close associates of the PM, along with senior officials in the Foreign Ministry, have been holding intensive talks with US counterparts before the vote expected tomorrow.
