Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has criticiszed his Australian counterpart, Anthony Albanese, as a “weak politician”, a day after Israel revoked visas for Australian diplomats to the Palestinian Authority. “History will remember Albanese for what he is: A weak politician who betrayed Israel and abandoned Australia’s Jews,” Mr Netanyahu said in a post on X. Australia and Israel have been increasingly at odds since Canberra declared it would recognise a Palestinian state at the UN General Assembly in September.
