The Israeli army said it struck in the area of Nabatieh in southern Lebanon last night and eliminated the commander of the anti-tank unit in Hezbollah’s “southern front”. The army said in a statement on Tuesday that Hassan Kamal Halawi “was responsible for numerous terror attacks against … Israel” during the war. It said he “facilitated the movement of operatives and the supply of weapons into southern Lebanon.”
