Earth is surrounded by a bubble of magnetosphere which gives protection against streams of charged particles from the Sun. Space physicist, Martin Archer from Imperial College London exposes that there are some standstill waves produced at the edges of the megnetosphere. These particles accelerate along the magnetic field towards the poles and are accountable for the elegant aurora that light up the sky.
