Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi arrived in Damascus on Sunday for a meeting with President Bashar Al Assad, according to the ministry. It did not give any details about the possible content of the meeting. Jordan was part of a collective Arab rapprochement with the authorities in Damascus that started two years ago.
