Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said his country would not be “indifferent” to an all-out war between Israel and Lebanon, as attacks escalate. Israeli strikes have killed at least 700 people in Lebanon. Mr Araghchi was speaking at a ministerial meeting of the intergovernmental Brics group in New York on Thursday, state news agency Irna reported. Israel has threatened a ground invasion of Lebanon, a move it says aims to secure its border and allow displaced Israelis to return to their homes.
