Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is seeking to work with the opposition to appoint an official investigation committee to examine Israel’s security failures on October 7, Army Radio reported. The Israeli media outlet added that Mr Netanyahu wants the head of Israel’s Supreme Court to have no part in choosing the committee. Opposition leader Yair Lapid said he has had no contact with Mr Netanyahu regarding such a committee.
