The US emphasized to citizens to “strongly reconsider travel to Lebanon”, with the conflict between Hezbollah and Israel at risk of becoming a full-scale war. America’s embassy in Beirut warned citizens that the situation “remains complex and can change quickly”. The announcement came as some US naval vessels are moved closer to Israel and Lebanon, in case they are needed in American evacuation operations, NBC reported.
