Ghulam Sarwar Khan, Federal Minister for Aviation, stated that the NAB and FIA are looking into anomalies and corruption at Islamabad International Airport.
Responding to a notice raised in the Upper House by Senator Mohsin Aziz, Federal Minister for Aviation Ghulam Sarwar Khan stated that the foundation for Islamabad International Airport was set on May 6, 2006, at a cost of Rs 38 billion. One was evaluated at various times, which raised the expense. Contracts for 18 packages to reward its employees were evaluated. The second runway was not finished. Massive irregularities and corruption have been revealed.
