The EU has condemned Israel for its biggest seizure of Palestinian lands in the occupied West Bank since the Oslo Accords. More than 800 hectares of Palestinian land were declared as “state” land last week by Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich. “In line with its longstanding common position and UN Security Council Resolutions, the EU will not recognize changes to the 1967 borders unless agreed by the parties,” the bloc said on Sunday, urging Israel to reverse the decision.
