US Secretary of State Antony Blinken met Jordan’s King Abdullah II in Washington. The two discussed the continuing war in Gaza and the need to protect Palestinian civilians. “Secretary Blinken and King Abdullah continued discussions about achieving an enduring end to the crisis in Gaza that provides lasting peace and security for Israelis and Palestinians alike,” State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said.
