The UN’s relief agency for Palestinian refugees has warned of increasing disease in Gaza amid widespread displacement and unclean water. UNRWA staff are vaccinating children against measles, mumps, rubella and other diseases but said the risks remain high. “There is an alarming spread of disease due to lack of sanitation and clean water. This ongoing vaccination campaign is a lifeline for children,” it said.
