British Foreign Secretary Lord David Cameron visited Kibbutz Be’eri in southern Israel during his first trip to the country in his new ministerial role. The former prime minister’s visit comes amid uncertainty about when the pause in the fighting will begin after a last-minute delay over which hostages would be released and how. Lord Cameron was pictured visiting the wreckage of burnt buildings in the kibbutz, which was one of the hardest-hit areas in the Hamas attack on October 7.
